Support

So what is supporting someone going through this type of surgery?!  Is it just listening when you need to talk about pros and cons or just saying they support you and let you do it? Asking questions about the surgery and what type is best?  I just feel like the one place I need the most support from isn't there.  Why does that not surprise me though?  Well at least I know everyone else around me does and when someone thinks you can't do something, only makes you want to prove them wrong. Right?!
